Aniventure, the award-winning animated film production company, selected Kitty to design and build their new website. With the launch of new highly acclaimed projects such as ‘Riverdance’, Aniventure was looking for a new premium website that would convey the success of the business to users and create a hub for press and prospective clients to explore their animated worlds.
The client required the new website to not only increase traffic to the website and socials but also to increase the number of quality opportunities being presented. To achieve this, Kitty would need to facilitate a creative and engaging site yet maintain a middle ground to ensure a certain level of formality is maintained across the site.
Whilst the old site was being taken down, the client required a holding page due to having contracts with leading media platforms. Kitty worked to dissect the brief whilst understanding the client’s wants and needs for a holding page.
Taking the brief into consideration, Kitty knew that they needed to host the site using a CMS that would suit their needs. With Aniventure looking to host a range of videos on the site due to the nature of their content, the team needed a CMS that would host such videos without the risk of compromising the site speed. Using their expert knowledge, Kitty chose to host the site using WordPress with a variety of plugins to allow Aniventure complete flexibility as and when needed without needing to do any development or write any HTML code.
Kitty recommended best practices for the website revolving around the most functional site design to ensure the customer journey was as seamless as possible. Recommending on a fresh brand that still kept the Aniventure brand at heart, consistent typography as well as a new background texture to increase page loading time.
