We are looking for a strong, mid-weight php developer with proven coding experience and a good eye for design to join our team creating engaging digital experiences.
You should be a PHP developer with understanding of CSS/HTML/JS standards passionate about best practice coding, be it from scratch or updating an existing website.
You will be working directly with our developers to help bring their work to life.
The majority of our development work is WordPress based (50%), however there are specific projects built using Drupal, BigCommerce, Node.js.
We are looking for someone with 4+ years of commercial experience to join the team at our central London office.

Requirements
- Have 4+ years’ experience in PHP development
- Have experience with:
- PHP 5/7
- MySQL
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- WordPress theme/plugins development
- Version control – Git
- Agile development methodologies including scrum, code reviews
Extra credit if you:
- Are able to understand the business context of what you are doing – understand the value your work creates
- Know how to use Docker; Linux
- Have experience with PHP Frameworks, e.g. Symphony, Laravel or similar
- Have experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
- Object oriented design and development; design patterns
